Polka Dots
Polka dots are a classic print that are definitely having a style moment! They were huge this past Spring/Summer and Fall trend forecasts continue to showcase this whimsical print.
Polka dots can be very versatile and easy to style. You can go as bold or understated as you like. They also pair well with other prints such as stripes and floral. Mixing the size of dots within an outfit adds interest to a look, or experimenting with dots on colour (rather than always sticking to black and white or navy and white). Although polka dots have ample styling options, the trick is to do it in a way that you don't end up looking too cutesy or as if you are impersonating a mouseketeer...
You can click on the images below for details on each piece and can also order on line if popping into these shops isn't convenient. If you have any questions on how to style a particular item, please don't hesitate to send me an email.
Don't forget to shop your closet first as you may have a fun polka dotted item hiding in there that has worked its way out of sight and mind...

I love this colour combo! Sadly, it wouldn't work on my skin tone, but if you have a warmer skin tone and wear mustard, olives, rust hues well...this is worth a look.

Love the striped band - easy print mixing. This works well with jeans, but so many styling options for work as well.

I like seeing dots on different colours (this also comes in pink). This would layer well under a chunky cardigan, moto jacket, denim jacket or blazer.

Pleated midi skirts will continue to be very on trend in the fall. This print is so subtle it would be very versatile while adding a bit of interest.

Style this one with a chunky sweater and ankle boot for fall. Or, a graphic t shirt and blazer - so many possibilities...
