Lola With LOLA | FRED we have accomplished our vision of a clothing brand being produced sustainably, manufactured 100 % in Europe with respect for the people involved in its production and for the environment. We work with recyclable or biodegradable fabrics. In order to avoid a high carbon footprint, we collaborate wherever possible with local producers. Where other manufacturers may focus on speedy production, we focus on creating an environmentally and socially responsible product which we believe you can see and feel in the end product.

Carpasus: The idea for CARPASUS was born in 2013 when the Rana Plaza factory collapsed in April in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and buried more than 1’100 textile workers. Notably this event made the CARPASUS founders reflect on how and under what environmental and social conditions our clothing and raw materials are made. Convinced that it is also possible to create a high-quality shirt made from organic cotton under fair, transparent and humane working conditions, the team talked to suppliers and potential customers, visited fairs and even traveled to the origins of raw materials and production sites, to learn more about the places and people behind the shirt.

Qwstion: "Our mission to generate positive change for the planet and all living beings is a constant work in progress. Much of this work happens behind the scenes along our supply chain – from the Philippine jungle that’s home to the Abacá plant from which Bananatex® is made, through our weaving and manufacturing partners across Asia and Europe, to the repair workshops in our QWSTION Stores."

Sanikai: "Discover our versatile Alma blouse, a timeless piece we've brought back in various colors, now featuring unique mother-of-pearl buttons (GOTS certified). This blouse is crafted from materials made from 3 PET bottles collected across Europe. The bottles are processed in Italy using a mechanical procedure to transform them into yarn, which is then woven into fabric."
