True and Light Spring. Ivory, peach, shell, orange, and aqua together in a clear and very yellow metal.

Dark Winter, the sweet side. The large heart is too velvety thick and will not flatter the other Winters' attire as well. The crown and emeralds keep the feeling in Winter.

Bright Winter. What do you imagine that the person who styles these pictures has in mind? This is a gorgeous necklace with lovely transparent stones, in what way are the colours doing each other any favours?

True Summer or True Winter. Floating somewhere between icy and pastel, circles and arcs. As with our palettes, the surrounding colours are part of why individual colours belong or don't. You may find the styling image as helpful as I did (not).

Light Spring. The metal is light and soft in its reflections, and yellow-greener than the one with similar colours for both Light Seasons somewhere near this image (I can't control where the system displays them.) The red is also brighter and shinier, more Spring tendency.

True Summer. The darkness might go just outside the palette but that's a 2% flaw in a 98% fantastic piece. The dark colours are probably lighter in real life and on the site, you see the softness relative to the model's fuchsia top.

Light Summer. The saturated Summer sparks their entire appearance with brightness. A soft surface and inspired metals makes everything better. A gentle rose gold, colours of sand, such a good piece of jewelry.

Dark Seasons. We seldom see them interpreted as feathers.

Novica is a Nat. Geo. affiliate site with some beautiful items. I could love this on all 3 Summers. Cool coral, beautiful grays, and cool rose in softer and more saturated variations. The warmest stones are tiny, read as cool peach, and remind us that, like True Winter, True Summer has an important yellow component and a range of warmer and cooler reds. The Seasons progress from one to the next. 'True cool' defines a range, without meaning absence of yellow.

Bright Spring. The dark ovals are wood, a lovely way to replace black, add a natural material in a lightweight way, and use a colour that, if not perfect, comes very close.

True Spring or any Spring. Lights look great in their brighter colours, Brights are lovely in warm, natural colours, and True Spring and coral were made for each other.

Bright Spring. This is actually a choker. Beautiful choice of metal and terrific proportions in the piece, to say adult and expensive first and fiesta second.

To see it here, you might think a Dark Season or Soft Summer. On the site, it is brighter and lighter and the metal is rose gold, a metal that seems best suited to Spring-influenced skin. I loved the image on the site for Bright Spring as the dark edge of their fuchsias.

Soft Summer if it looks like this. Or Light Summer's pink lemonade if it looks like the image on the mannequin, in which the light gold dots work even better.

    Bright Spring's joyful icicles.

True or Soft Summer. Colour simplicity and lovely metals from an artist who knew when to stop.

Light Summer's cooler, lighter side. The warmth can be felt compared to the True Summer pendant above.

True Spring. The same simplicity as the True Summer pendant, when a colour says all that needs saying.

Dark Winter. One could encapsulate the Season with this item.

Dark Winter. A slight rustic feeling but more 'industrial jewels' than 'wealthy library by fireplace' (which is a Dark Autumn feel.

Bright Spring, the feeling of motion, the wheel's still in spin, the sharp edge of Winter and the fun of Spring.

Dark Autumn. Mixed heat (fire and frozen) and mixed textures (gravel and ice) look great. This colouring was made to support extremes (or what looks like extremes).

Light Summer or Bright Winter. If you're going to do this type of look, this is quite nice. And it will set you back $3.82.

Soft, True, or Dark Autumn, all of whom need darkness, and look great in texture, depth, and natural materials. The metal is not first choice but not important enough to say no to this one.

The other side of True Winter, the one where you have to watch your back (meant in the nicest possible way). The saturation is high but the item is talking to me for that colouring, like you might see them on a Hi Def screen.

True Winter is not especially dark. Many of the colours are actually quite sweet in their own way.

True Autumn, brick roses and pieces of toffee. Once again, gratitude for a great choice of metal.

True Autumn, liquid fire. How pleasing when attention is given to a beautiful metal and clasp design.

True Winter. Why not Bright? Because TW fuchsia was comfortable alongside this while BW strawberry wasn't. Fondly referred as the What Feels Worse game.

A piece that True (or Soft) Summer might not see coming, but for the woman looking for the Statement part of this issue's title, this may be an option.

True Summer burgundy. Right there. Nicely muted chain is an excellent choice.

Bright Winter. Fabulous movement of iridescent fire in the small yellow stones, like an undulating snake maybe? Very provocative. PS BW: look at this item in blue.

True Autumn. Not exactly a red undertone but the sex appeal of neutrals can sometimes amaze. The colour of cord amazed once again. And of course, diamonds are every woman's stone.

Bright Spring, the fiesta side, candy tangerine slices in a zigzag.

  • Christine on Dec 22, 2017

Bright Spring. The dangerous side, the rainforest at night, the mosaic butterfly turned to glass. If only the caramel were a bit less red, but this is a 'close enough is good enough' moment.

  • Christine on Dec 22, 2017

True Spring is a gentle Season. Colours are sweet and warm. The small stones, the choice of chain, the lattice design, the parts support one another.

Light Spring. How can conch shell pink excite an entire palette and become shinier in the process?

Bright Spring. The warm and sweet side, an impression that we can forget amongst the glitter.

A Light Summer that isn't pastel or floral. Great colour of white, beautiful red range at the top. In the image, the reds at the lower half become muted, velvety, Autumn-like, but not enough to matter.

Dark Autumn. The spice, the bite, the danger, where colours and shapes walk the same talk. A perfume with a name like Poison.

Soft Autumn. The colour and weight of the stone, and the colour and weight of the metal. Just right.

True Autumn. Holding nothing back, setting sun and golden earth.
