Substantial sandals
When it comes to Summer footwear, this season we're seeing a more substantial, chunky sandal in the spotlight. This is a carry-over from the lug soles we were seeing in boots in Fall/Winter as well as platform soles which have been on both boots and sneakers. Great for comfort and can be dressed up or down. Several of the fashion magazines are referring to this trend as the "dad sandal". The current footwear trend also includes the "fisherman" sandal which are cage-style flat sandals that buckle at the ankle.

You'd be surprised how many hues this shade of lime combines well with! I love the white lug sole. These are the brand "Vionic" so made with comfort in mind.
