Rothy's - Brand Alert
If, like me, you are someone who has foot concerns this could be a brand to have on your radar. I often end up with corns, or tendon issues when shoes are too tight or stiff. These are made from a lightweight woven fabric (that is completely sustainable and machine washable). They have a comfort insole. They won't necessarily work for all foot conditions - and everyone has their own issues and concerns. But, if you are looking for a comfort based option to try - these are worth looking at. Note: I envision short walks in these such as out for dinner, or a wear all day at work type shoe. They come in so many fun prints and colours. Rothy's does include the US exchange and duties in their pricing making it easier to shop on-line.
Here are some of the styles that caught my eye and that I saw people trying on in the store. It was busy!
Note: I typically run between a 7.5 and 8. The 7.5 technically fit, but was a little snug. The salesperson recommended going up a half size as they will mold to your feet after a few wears and be the "perfect" fit. I'll keep you posted on that!

I love a metallic shoe as a neutral. These are the pair I added to my wardrobe as an alternative to my gold sandal which I love so much. These will be great for travel, walking out for dinners or for work. This style comes in so many neutral colours, bold hues and prints. Highly recommend checking out the options!

This knotted detail feels a little dressier if you are looking for an option that is even more elevated. This style also comes in so many colours and prints.

I like this classic Maryjane style with a subtle squared toe. Almost almond style which feels more classic.

So many people were trying on the loafers in the store - I particularly liked them in navy. Click to see the options.
