Elevated Comfort
We may be turning a corner in 2021, but it's pretty clear that more time at home will continue for at least the first half of the year. That does not mean we need to completely throw style out the window, but the trends we are seeing reflect what's going on in the world:
Matching sets, luxe fabrics, jogger-style pants in a range of fabrics, pieces that move with you all continue to be very popular as we move into 2021. Silhouettes are leaning more toward straighter cuts over skinny and not overly form fitting - think: a more relaxed and effortlessly cool feeling without being too oversized (as that can make us look larger than we actually are - it's definitely a fine balance to keep in mind).
Don't forget that by adding in one of the following style elements: colour, print, texture or shine - an outfit is easily elevated. This also applies to lounge or active wear.
Here is some inspiration of some of what is out there at the moment...

We'll be seeing lots of knitwear sets this season. An elevated take on pjs that can be styled for work (at or out of the home).

I have this pant in black and grey. The black particularly feels like pjs but works well outside of the home in a more dressed up look.

The "Only" pant from an independent designer in NYC. This is truly slow fashion at its best as she sources out all materials from the garment district and they are done by hand in her studio, They are more of an investment, but very luxe. I purchased them in Dusty Rose and call them my pandemic pant, but plan to wear far after the pandemic! If these pants catch your eye, DM me if you are in Canada as duties can be an issue and she was able to work with me on making this more manageable.

Spanx leather leggings add texture and interest. Great basic, pair so easily with pieces such as a shacket or coatigan...

I love a statement sleeve - still feels very modern and such a simple way to style up a sweatshirt. Colour and silhouette.
