When You Want "Soft Pants"
• “Hard Pants” & “Soft Pants” became popular vernacular during COVID. Now that many of us are still working from home, we want to stay comfy in our soft pants but maybe not feel like we're in our PJs. We highly recommend changing from PJs to other clothes, even if they are soft pants that feel as comfy as your sleepwear. The ritual of changing clothing helps change our mindset. Learn more about this concept in our Wear Who You Are podcast episode: “From Couch to Conference: Redefining Remote Style”

Need a coat? We got you!
• Coats are often an investment piece and must function well for you! Here are some of our top tips to consider when searching for your new coat: Is it roomy enough for your layers? Try it on with your bulkiest layers to make sure it's comfortable. Consider sizing up if it feels too tight. A less-structured shoulder, like a dolman or raglan sleeve, makes room for more layers.Length matters! Make sure you consider the right length for you. Get cold easily? Consider a ¾ or full-length. This also ensures the coat covers any of your longer 3rd layers. Neutral colors are the most versatile. Consider getting a neutral to mix and match with everything. We often suggest a non-black neutral like camel, chocolate brown, charcoal gray, or navy.Does it button to the top? Make sure there's an option to button it to the top versus an open lapel neckline. This gives you more warmth and ensures you don't always have to wear a scarf.
