BODY SHAPE: RECTANGLE
The rectangle body shape is characterized by equal measurements from bust, waist, and the hip. Shortage of curves gives the body more of a rectangular figure.
CHARACTERISTICS
Straight shoulders, ribcage, and hip lines
Definition of waist is minimal
Little to no midriff
Little to no curves
Weight is distributed pretty evenly
The key to styling a rectangle body shape is to create definition in the waist. The hips, waist, and shoulder are all similar in measurement so it is important to add more focus to the waist.
If you do not want to add specific definition to the waist, you can add volume to your bust and hips to make the waist visually appear smaller.
