The hourglass body shape follows relatively equal measurements in the bust and hips with a smaller waist. The key to dressing this body shape is to follow its natural characteristics by evenly distributing weight on the top and bottom while defining the waist.
You do not want to take attention away from the waist by dressing too heavily above or below it. You want to maintain the natural silhouette as presented by an hourglass.
