What I wore on a ten day holiday to Croatia

Here are most of the outfits I wore

13 Looks

• These outfits (plus a few more I didn't get photos of) and my cosmetics and toiletries all fitted easily within a suit case weighing 13.3kg. Three pairs of sandals in neutral colours (flip flops for pool side, flats for sightseeing and heels for evening) and a pair of ankle boots for travelling were fine for all occasions and outfits.

Layered up for travel and looking bleary eyed as I've been up since 4am. The green biker is really versatile as it can be layered over skirts and dresses too. I wore ankle boots to the airport and once I'd arrived I wore the jeans with a variety of sandals.

This is Boden dress from the current season. It's cotton and was cool and comfortable for sightseeing.

This dress is a French Connection bargain from some years ago. Cool, lightweight and doesn't crease. On holiday I wore it with flipflops and flats during the day and heels and drop earrings for the evening.

This dress is from Next and packs beautifully as it doesn't crease. I wore it for our anniversary dinner with heels and, afterwards, more casually with flats.

One of my favourite dresses from Warehouse - and so versatile! I often wear it with a wide leather tan belt and cream cardigan in the UK but for Croatia I wore it with the fabric self-belt so that I stayed comfortable in the heat.

Yet another Boden dress (I hadn't realised I have so many!)This one is linen so nice and cool for hot days. It does crease but still somehow looks OK. You probably can't see from this photo, but it has a discreet bow under the bust and has quite an Audrey Hepburn (my style icon!) feel to it.

Excuse the not very lady-like pose! This was a Boden sale bargain from about four years ago. It finishes just above the knee and is a simple throw-it-on Summer dress that ca be dressed up or down.

These ivory jeans are from M&S and I wear them endlessly! On holiday, I paired them with a variety of different tops. This one is from Benetton.

Tie front leopard print shirt from H&M. This was only£12.99, if I remember rightly, and I wear it a lot.

That mini again - this time paired with an M&S top which I like because it's quite short so works well on my petite frame.

This M&S button front mini mainly just comes out for holidays when I don't mind showing a bit more leg! It teams well with all sorts of tops including the leopard print shirt.

I have a couple of tee shirt dresses like this which I like to wear as beach cover-ups on holiday.

A Boden tunic that makes a great beach cover-up.
